Berkline 45032 - Ambient Lighting and New Power Buttons
Berkline 45032 New Addition
Another new addition to Berkline Home Theater is the Berkline 45032. This model, like the 45030, has also not been given a name yet but one should be assigned in the next month or so. There are a few new features to this model that are worth mentioning but most importantly, it follows the 45030 into the dimensions category where the seat can fit into a UPS Ground box for easy shipping. This is relevant because ground shipments cost less and are quicker in delivery times when compared to an LTL carrier.
The Berkline 45032 does have some interesting changes as they relate to the power and lighting control buttons on the power recline and ambient lighting options. The power recline is a new interface with an open and close illuminated button that sits mounted on the middle inside arm of the seat. This makes finding the control much easier in a dark environment and it actually is very well designed and looks better than the previous switch. For customers who order the ambient lighting and lighted cup holders, there is also an ‘on/off’ switch on the same panel as the power recline.
In terms of style, there is very little difference between this model and the Berkline 45030. The most recognizable difference, over the ambient lighting, is the arm rest. The arm rest on the 45032 is straight and flat from front to back. This gives the seat a cleaner look. The Berkline 45030 has a curved arm rest that slopes downwards from the back to the front. Both seats are equipped with the chaise style foot rest and have very similar back heights.
