The Grand Masters of Berkline Home Theater Seating
In every line of furniture, there are models that basically have it all. Home theater seats that have all the features, size and comfort that theater seating can offer. These are the theater seats that you know will be bought and enjoyed by the home theater enthusiast who wants to spare no luxury, lift no finger and never leave his seat once he falls into it. There are two exciting models from Berkline that bring this type of person the theater seat of their dreams. They are the Berkline 45002 and its brother, the Berkline 45014. These seats may be better known as the Berkline Apollo and Imperial.
Both these seats offer a wand that controls the power recline mechanism as well as a power adjustable headrest. These features are standard. Both these seats have the largest foot print that Berkline makes for a theater seat. They almost look the same with the exception of a few small styling differences. Both these seats offer the industry demanded and desired chaise style foot rest. The Berkline 45014 home theater seat has a cleaner more contemporary look. This is evidenced by less padding and more rounding to the armrests. There is also padding on the top of the arm rests which adds to the comfort. The wand that controls the power recline and power head rest is the exact same unit as on the Berkline 45002. It is a clean design with a black cord connecting to the seat between the arm rest and the seat cushion.
The Berkline 45002 brings a comfort design that acts like a magnet to any of it’s passengers. A thick tubed padding runs around the seat and back rest. This gives the seat a bucket-like seating design and comfort. The tubing acts like fingers around the body, holding you in a position of pure bliss and leisure.
Unfortunately with all these benefits and features comes a hefty price tag relative to other Berkline models. In person though, these seats sell themselves. In their presence, one realizes that you are looking at a true leader.
