"I searched and sat in so many chairs and wow these were the answer. Got them at a great price, since Berkline liquidated much of its furniture. Perfect timing for me. I have to join in on the rave about the size, comfort, and design of these Matinee chairs. The came with the optional lighted cupholders that have the power seat buttons built into them. That adds to the slight modern look, without too much. The ability to put them close to the wall is awesome since I don't have room built for a hometheater, but rather a large room being used for home theater. You will fal asleep on a few movies in these babies!"

"Everywhere you go, this is the seat that people seem to know. It definitely is the industry standard and well documented and experienced by home theater enthusiasts across the country. The seat is larger than it appears in the pictures here. I bought it because of its reputation alone and neutral look - not too modern or too old fashioned. I am 6ft tall and the seat fits me perfectly - would also work if I was 2' taller but beyond that I am not sure if this is your option. Overall the buying experience was good - knowledge of the salesman far exceeded what I had experienced in a few store visits. There are many options here but I only took the power recline."

"We looked for a long time and tested many seats and we are very pleased with our seats. They are perfect! They are very comfortable up or reclined and fit our 6ft height nicely. The selection of leathers and swatches was endless. The double wide middle seat is perfect for cuddling up with our kids. And the regular seats are nice and wide. We have 3 power and 2 manual and find the manual as comfortable as the power. Couldnt be happier...unless they were free. :)"
