And admire them we do, hence the decision to devote an award to the best personal music blogs currently active.

While all of our award winners earned a place on this list thanks to their strong writing prowess and usefulness to the community, sadly not all personal music blogs are of this calibre. The team waded through rambling diatribes, ugly site design and unoriginal humour during a review process which went on for hours; however, we feel it was all worth it in order to compile this list of pure quality in the world of music writing.
