The Academy is designed with two types of seat back options: fixed or rocker. A fixed back is fixed to the frame and will not move at all when one is seated in the chair. A rocker back is somewhat flexible and will rock back and forth a few inches.
The outside arms on this fixed seating chair come with two available options - fixed or flip-up. Both versions of the arms will have cup holder molds to accommodate your drinks during the show or lecture. All middle arms are flip-up out of the box.
No corners have been cut in our desire to deliver a truly superior product. Superior quality is the hallmark of this movie rocker and all Octane seating models in this category. Cold rolled steel is used for the seating frame. This steel processing delivers a much more consistent finish, tolerance and straightness. The plastic shell is made with ABS plastic which is durable and easy to keep clean.
Fortunately for you, there is also a wide range of colors and covers available too. These are in fabric and microfiber upholsteries and you are sure to find an option that best suits your room. Octane Seating offers this model in commercial grade options including acrylic, vinyl, synthetic leather, fabrics, and top grain leather. Customer own material (COM) and leather (COL) is also available upon request. Our fabrics are in compliance with California's TB-117 fire ratings. If you need to comply with another country's fire rating standards, we will do our best to accommodate you, contact us for details.
