Bass Home Theater Seating
Bass home theater seating is built the way good furniture used to be built. Bass Industries works out of Miami and custom-makes every seat in the United States on a kiln-dried hardwood and steel frame, over sinuous springs and individually pocketed coils, wrapped in 2.2 high-density foam and upholstered in premium full top grain Italian leather. Pocketed coils are the detail worth pausing on. Almost no other theater seating brand puts a true coil seating core under the cushion, which is why a Bass recliner holds its shape years after a foam-only seat has taken a permanent impression. Eighteen models, thirty-plus leather colors, and rows built to your layout.

How Bass Theater Seats Are Built
Two theater recliners can look identical in a product photo and diverge completely after three years. The difference is under the leather. Here is what Bass Industries puts there.
- Individually pocketed coils in the seating core. This is the headline. Almost no other theater seating brand builds a true coil core into the seat. Each coil responds independently, the way a good mattress does, so the cushion holds its shape instead of taking a permanent impression of whoever sits there most.
- Sinuous spring suspension under the coils, rather than webbing or stapled decking.
- Kiln-dried hardwood and steel frames. Kiln drying removes the moisture that later causes joints to loosen and creak.
- 2.2 high-density foam wrapped in Dacron. High density foam resists compression over time. The Dacron wrap keeps the crown on the cushion.
- Premium full top grain leather. Not bonded, not PU. Top grain hides break in and develop a patina rather than cracking and flaking. Read our guide to spotting great leather if you are comparing spec sheets.
- Custom made in the USA. Bass Industries builds in Miami. Browse more North American made theater seating.
- Five-year manufacturer warranty on every seat. See our warranty and care terms.
All 18 Bass Theater Seat Models
The collection is named after cities and titles, and it splits cleanly into three tiers. Pricing shown is current promotional pricing per seat.
Best Value: $2,699 to $2,985
The Penthouse opens the line at $2,699 with a split pillow backrest and a 22 inch seat, and the Majestic matches it with deep tufting, bold stitching and a taller back for full head support. The Ambassador adds a vertically split seat back that cradles the spine plus an adjustable pop-up headrest, while the Executive pairs that same tilting headrest with a chaise footrest. The Showtime brings nailhead accents and bolstered arms, and the Celebrity at $2,985 hides wood-inlaid tilt-out cup holders that disappear when not in use.
Premium: $4,050
The Barcelona is the statement chair, with a crowned backrest set with nail heads, rounded front arms and motorized recline as standard. The Milan takes the contemporary route with a sculpted back, a wider seat pan and a full chaise footrest. The St. Tropez pleats the seat back and curves the arms. All three come in the Luxtan, Perla and Royalton leather series with forty-plus colors.
Flagship: $4,455
The Monaco is the top of the line: full tilt-out inlaid cup holders, a pleated footrest, a bolstered headrest, and a mechanism that needs only four inches of wall clearance to recline fully. That number is worth remembering when you are laying out a room.

Configure Your Bass Recliners
- Layout. A single recliner, a loveseat, a sofa, or rows of two, four or six, straight or curved.
- Recline. Manual is standard on several models. Power recline adds roughly $500 to $1,925 depending on row size, and gives you hundreds of stopping points instead of three preset notches. On models with a chaise footrest it is worth it.
- Headrests. Several models offer an adjustable pop-up or motorized tilting headrest.
- Cup holders. Standard, tilt-out, or wood inlaid, in black, chrome or gold.
- Feet. Wood in multiple stains, or metal including stainless steel.
- Protection plan. Optional five-year coverage from $59 to $295 depending on configuration, on top of the included manufacturer warranty.
Fitting Bass Seating to Your Room
- Short on depth? The Monaco reclines fully in four inches of wall clearance. Compare it against the rest of our wall hugger theater seating before you commit to a layout.
- Building a second row? Riser height drives sightlines and riser depth drives recline clearance. Read the riser planning guide, then browse theater risers.
- Wide room? A curved row keeps every seat pointed at the screen and recovers usable width.
- Taller or larger viewers? Back heights and seat pans vary across the collection. Cross-reference oversized theater seating before choosing a model.
- Comfort is the priority? Start with the split pillow and chaise footrest models, then compare against our most comfortable theater seats.

How Bass Compares
- Against stock theater seating: Bass is made to order in top grain leather on a coil-and-spring core. Stock lines ship faster but use foam-only seating and a fixed color palette.
- Against Fortress: Both are American made and built to order. Fortress changes frame dimensions for rooms needing exact measurements. Bass focuses on furniture-grade seat construction and leather quality at a lower entry price.
- Against imported luxury seating: Domestic manufacturing keeps parts available and makes service a phone call rather than a replacement purchase.
- On transparency: Every Bass price is published on this page. No quote request, no login wall.

How to Order Bass Home Theater Seating
- Measure the room. Wall-to-wall width, walkway clearance and recline depth behind each seat.
- Choose layout first, model second. Row count and curve narrow the field faster than styling does.
- Pick your leather series and color. Order swatches if you are matching an existing interior.
- Decide manual or power. Power is the upgrade most buyers say they would make again.
- Order early. Bass seats are built to order and ship in 16 to 20 weeks. Order your seating when you order the projector, not after the drywall goes up.
- We deliver and place it. Free nationwide delivery, seats set in the room, fully assembled.
Financing is available, and our home theater cost breakdown helps you budget the full build. Still deciding? Read our seating selection guide.
